Transient Recording: Home
Transient Recording is Dallas’ home for high quality recording. The main focus of the company is recording equipment rental, but there are other services offered for those in the music, and production industry.
How do you rent equipment? Here’s a good place to start. Need help making your recording? Engineering services is part of it, but maybe you need something else. Sequencing, (or beats, if that’s how you roll) contracting, (How do you find a drummer that will show up, or a guitarist that can read?) or maybe even help with writing or arrangement. Whatever your needs are, there’s undoubtedly someone out there who is the right fit. I can help you find them.
There are as many reasons to rent equipment as there are to record. One that comes up the most often is location recording. Currently I’m prepared to record 16 channels through a Lynx Aurora to a Mac Book Pro, however 32 channels is in the not too distant future. Already the transformer isolated split is in place, and I’m looking for high quality, small form factor preamps to accommodate this. Whether it’s a church event, or a local gig that you’d like to use for promotion, recording an event as it takes place can be exciting, and useful. Package rates are available by the day for location recording.
